With a site name of In The Crease, my fascination for netminders in the game of hockey is obvious - this has also been covered in greater detail in the Masked Men article on this site. The whole point of this section of the site is to compile a number of galleries of netminder mask images. The categories the section is split into can be seen below - the Historical Masks section includes images from now-defunct NHL and WHA teams such as the Hartford Whalers, Quebec Nordiques and Winnipeg Jets. Within the ISL and NHL sections the masks are grouped by team and as an added bonus, the NHL section also includes jersey images past and present for each team. I am hoping to add further categories to cover the minor leagues in the US and maybe the BNL over here in Britain in the future.
